Who: Members of the Lemon Grove Rod & Gun Club and non-members are invited. When: As shown on website calendar, first Saturday. Register for this match on Practiscore at: https://practiscore.com/clubs/lemon-grove-gun-club-3. Scores will be posted on Practiscore at: https://practiscore.com/clubs/lemon-grove-gun-club-3. The match will normally consist of 4-6 stages with two stages located on the rifle range side and two stages located in the Pistol Pit and two stages behind the pistol pit. If you are shooting more than one gun (i.e. handgun and PCC or two different handguns), then register twice and add PCC or 2 after your last name on the second registration. Cost: Members: $0 Non-Member Daily Membership Fee: $20 All participants are expected to help in the conduct of the event by helping with setup, tear-down, target taping and score keeping. Non-Members will be charged two match fees if they use two guns. IF 50 OR MORE PEOPLE SIGN UP FOR THE MATCH, SHOOTING WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE GUN PER PERSON IN ORDER TO FINISH THE MATCH IN A TIMELY MANNER! The match will be limited to 60 shooters so sign up quickly as the match fills up quickly. The stage descriptions are posted on Practiscore so please read them and bring the appropriate amount of ammo for your shooting needs. Match setup up starts at 7:00AM, match sign in starts at 7:30AM and closes promptly at 8:15AM. Please come early to facilitate a rapid sign in and squadding process. The Safety Brief starts at 8:20AM and ends at 8:30AM. If you don’t attend the safety brief you will not be allowed to compete in the match. The match will run from 0830-whenever we are done! What to bring: Any semi-auto pistol or revolver, holster, 100 rounds of LEAD ammunition, a minimum of 4 magazines or 5 speed loaders, eye protection (shooting glasses), hearing protection and a desire to have some fun. Magnum ammunition is NOT allowed! Holsters must be attached at the belt level. Military and law enforcement may wear their duty rig (drop-leg holster). Muzzle must point down and retention devices and duty gear must be worn. No small-of-back, cross-draw, or shoulder rigs may be used. |
